Maria Björklund is an animation director, comic book maker, and an illustrator from Helsinki. In recent years she has developed an interest for street art and now, Björklund is known for the Mimmit Peinttaa collective. She sees street art as a collective process and enjoys the communication between artists. Björklund finds inspiration in cute characters and bright colors.
