Concreate Urban Art Festival filled East Pasila with street art and events from 31st of July to 8th of August 2020.
The first Conreate Festival brought together Finnish and foreign street artists to create art all around East Pasila. The festival week featured different types of street art-related events. The highlight of Concreate was a public street festival on the last day of the festival.
In 2020 Concreate featured nearly 30 artists or artist groups from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Italy, Czech, and Spain.
The Concreate Urban Art Festival 2020 was organized by Helsinki Urban Art Association, which specializes in urban art, in cooperation with Naapurituottajat -a project by Kalliolan Settlementtitalo, whose main responsibility was the Saturday’s block party.
The project was supported by Nordic Culture Point, the City of Helsinki, Embassy of the Czech Republic, Molotow Finland, STO Finexter Oy and Powerlift Finland. The activities of the Pasila Urban Art Center are supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation and Kuluttajaosuustoiminnan säätiö.
